The Economy is still in Trouble; Many Experts still Predict Global Economic Meltdown

Some of the world's leading economists believe things are going to go from really bad to a whole lot worse!

In spite of the optimistic words of President Obama, stock prices keep declining at such an alarming rate that Wall Street, Economists and the Public alike are fearing a total meltdown of the global economy.

Fearing that the economy might dip back into another recession, investors are selling everything...

Meanwhile, many leading and well known economists are fueling the fire, warning of an impending stock market crash which would result with first an economic then a social Armageddon.

Italy, Spain and Japan are having real problems now too, joining Greece, Portugal and Ireland as bankrupt countries close to civil war and revolution. Its beginning to look like a worldwide Armageddon is becoming more probable than possible each passing day.

When will America Collapse? What the video bellow and listen to the answers from experts like Jim Rogers, Max Wolf, David Walker, Gerald Celente, David Vickers and CNN's Jack Cafferty.

The end is coming, that much is clear, we cannot prevent it, we can only hope to stall it as long and best we can. Nobody can predict the day, the month, not even the year, but time is running out.

Since we cannot prevent the economic collapse or the chaos that will follow, we must prepare for it. And considering we don't know the year, month, week or day the shit will hit the fan, I strongly suggest we (you) start preparing now. Don't start procrastinating, finding excuses and keep putting it off. This mess could start a lot sooner than we think. In fact, doesn't something usually when we expect something the least?

The better your financial situation is right now, the better you can prepare for the coming storm. But no matter what your resources are, you had better get on it before it's too late!

Unless you are a skilled survivalist as well as an economic genius, I recommend the advice from the investment experts at Weiss Research, Sean Brodrick,ho has been featured on many financial talk shows, including CNBC Squawk Box, Fox Business, CNN, The Glenn Beck Program, Your World with Neil Cavuto and Bloomberg Market Line. He is a contributing columnist to MarketWatch.com and a frequent commentator on one of Canada's premiere financial websites, HoweStreet.com.

Brodrick has written, The Ultimate Suburban Survivalist Guide: The Smartest Money Moves to Prepare for Any Crisis, the ultimate guide to preparing for and profiting during a disaster of any kind. With this book, author Brodrick teaches you the simple things you can do that will help you prepare and profit in this changing economic landscape. He discusses how you should position yourself financially in order to survive—and possibly thrive—during a regular economic downturn, a full-blown recession, or an economic collapse. He addresses how to protect your health—and that of your family—as well as your home from uncontrollable events. He offers practical advice for storing food and water, buying survival gear, and becoming more self-sufficient. He even details different transportation options, should traditional means fail, and offers practical advice on evacuating an area should things become unstable.

I can also with a clear conscience recommend, The Modern Survival Manual: Surviving the Economic Collapse and Going Galt: Surviving Economic Armageddon, as well as How to Survive the End of the World as We Know It: Tactics, Techniques, and Technologies for Uncertain TimesHealth, Mind & Body Books) when things really go crazy.

Now, you can either believe that this is going to happen and start preparing, or you can deny the signs of the times and hope for the best. I just hope you don't put the lives of those who depend on you at risk because you're an optimist!

Fears of a Total Stock Market Crash triggers Fears of Worldwide Economic Armageddon

Economists Fear of a new, even Worse Recession are felt on Wall Street in the form of Falling Stocks

With Wall Street gripped by fears of a probable recession or possible depression, the stock market continues a dangerous downward spiral not seen since the financial crisis in the later part of 2008.

"We are continuing to be bombarded by worries about the global economy," said Bill Stone, a chief investment strategist.

Everyone is talking about financial collapse, financial meltdown and financial Armageddon. Everyone is expecting a real live stock market crash, like we haven't seen since the one that caused the Great Depression.

When you compound these already detrimental problems with American's ever dwindling work ethics and loose morals of our youth, Houston we have a problem.

Lets face it, America produces virtually nothing worthwhile for the world, just dollar bills. And even those our in trouble.

Europe is in just as bad, if not worse shape than the US; all the European nations (except Germany and one or two of the smaller, financially insignificant countries) are going broke. First Greece and Ireland, followed by Portugal, Italy and Spain. The Eurozone is going broke just like the US and Japan. France owns in excess of 500Billion Euros in Italian debt. Should Italy fall, will that bring France and the rest of whats left in the Eurozone into bankruptcy? Is the Euro going to capitulate before Christmas 2011?

In the meantime, the national debt of Japan is now well over 200% of GDP, while they are trying to recover from the worst disaster in their history, nobody is coming up with a solution for their problems.  Up to this point, Japan has been able to borrow massive amounts of money at extremely low interest rates from their own people, but that isn’t going to last forever either.

It seems to be a case of which, the completely worthless Dollar, the equally worthless Yen or the marginally worthwhile Euro collapsing first.

There seems to be no way out but to have a default en masse and start over.

Are you prepared for dealing with an economic collapse? What about an economic recession or depression?

I have seen this coming for quite some time. Way back in October of 2010, I wrote the article, Global Economic Armageddon. However, nobody predicted the current events better than Peter Shiff.

The economic and monetary disaster, as described by Wall Street prognosticator Peter Schiff is no longer  hypothetical. It has only just begun. For more than a decade, Schiff has not only observed the economy, but also helped his clients restructure their portfolios to reflect his outlook. What he sees today is a nation facing an economic storm brought on by growing federal, personal, and corporate debt; too little savings; and a declining dollar.

Peter Schiff's timely Crash Proof 2.0: How to Profit From the Economic Collapse takes into account the dramatic economic shifts that are reshaping the world and provides you with the insights and information to navigate the dangerous terrain. Throughout the book, Schiff explains the factors that will affect your future financial stability and offers a specific three step plan to battle the current economic downturn. Shiff discusses the measures you can take to protect yourself-as well as profit-during these difficult times. He offers an insightful examination of the structural weaknesses underlying the economic meltdown. He outlines a plan that will allow you to preserve wealth and protect the purchasing power of your savings. Crash Proof 2.0 will help you survive and thrive during the coming years of economic uncertainty.

It is time you consider the different scenarios and plan how you could best protect your family in times of trouble, no matter if it's because of a financial collapse or a terrorist attack.

Do not plan to rely on the government for help, unless you don't mind living in a sports stadium for days on end while things get sorted out. But should you watch the Alex Jones Show FEMA Concentration Camps, Coffin and related videos about FEMA's planned concentration camps, you may want to reconsider that option anyway.

The most important considerations are of course, water, food, protection, shelter, sanitation and heat.

You may want to form family alliances and community connections now, while the forming is good. Learn more about who lives in your neighborhood and potential dangers coming from neighbors.

Consider your assets and what you already have that will help you to care for yourself, your family and others you care about. Recognize your weaknesses and work to overcome them.

One of the first things you should consider is your financial situation. If you have the means, you may want to consider buying or leasing a home in the country, now, while they are still available. If you have the means, you may want to buy a supply of nonperishable food and weapons to defend yourself and your loved ones.

There are several good books I recommend that can help you prepare, such as The Modern Survival Manual: Surviving the Economic Collapse, Preparing for the Coming Collapse of the U.S. Dollar (Surviving in the New America) and How to Survive the End of the World as We Know It: Tactics, Techniques, and Technologies for Uncertain Times(only available in Kindle format), but there are many, many more you can find with a simple search.

Its up to you to hope for the best or prepare for the worst. The question may be, can you afford to hope? Can you even afford to procrastinate?

Will Japan's Catastrophe Trigger a Worldwide Economic Depression?

Japan has just been hit by  biggest fall in stocks since the two-day fall of the 1987 global stock market crash.

Japan was already teetering on a bad economic situation before the current disaster. Their markets were already trashed.

Could this compound their problems and set in motion a ripple effect that will plunge the whole world into an economic meltdown?

We must not forget, that although China has surpassed Japan as the second largest global economy, it is still the third largest financial power in the world.

Still, just 16% of adults say America’s relationship with its former World War II enemy is not very or not at all important. 59% of Americans say Japan is an ally of the United States. Only 10% view the country as an enemy, while 24% think of it as somewhere in between an ally and an enemy. 46% believe America should help Japan militarily if it comes under attack, but 41% disagree.

So is the United States ready to help our second biggest financial trading partner master their disaster?

Japanese cash plays a crucial role in global bond and stock markets. Despite two decades of stagnant growth on home turf, Japan is the second largest foreign owner of US government securities, with nearly $900bn of America's public debt. This time it could be the rest of the world that takes a financial hit while the Japanese economy booms.

To understand how this could happen, we need but to follow the Japanese money. Savings by individuals and money held by Japanese insurers and financial institutions amounts to trillions of dollars in cash, much of which makes its way on to world securities markets. When natural disasters happen in Japan, individuals and companies need this cash to rebuild, and insurance companies need it for payouts.

Earthquake insurance is hard to get for most households in Japan, so much of the cost, estimated at $100 billion, will have to come from a mountain of ordinary savings held in Japanese financial institutions, much of it invested overseas. Japanese insurers will also have to sell overseas assets, but they will be spared the full cost because they have reinsured a lot of their risk with overseas insurance firms, who in turn have reinsured it with other insurers. This insurance trail is a global labyrinth. Japan's risk, it turns out, is the world's risk.

As was expected, when US markets opened on Friday, the sell-off of Japanese-held treasuries began. Bond prices fell and yields rose, although analysts say the selling was offset by buying from investors fleeing debt problems in the eurozone and unrest in the Middle East.

Within hours of the disaster the yen was sold off in record perportions. Japan's central bank says it will inject 15 trillion yen into the economy to stabilise markets, but that didn't stop the Nikkei index slumping 16% so far this week. This is the biggest two-day fall since the 1987 global stock market crash.

As stock markets plunge around the world, Ray Suarez talks with The Economist's Greg Ip about the economic fallout from the ongoing disaster in Japan on PBS Newshour.

Yet, all of this was predictable. In 1991 Peter Hadfield wrote a book, Sixty Seconds That Will Change the World, about the consequences of a major earthquake in the Tokyo area. Peter wrote that the rest of the world would come off far worse than Japan and that US treasuries would have to be sold to meet insurance claims and pay for rebuilding, resulting in falling bond prices and rising interest rates. The yen would then rise as these overseas savings were sent back to Japan. What a scam!

A model produced by the Tokai Bank in 1989 found that Japan, after experiencing severe short-term negative growth, would bounce back as the cash flowed home and the rebuilding began. It was the rest of the world, starved of this investment and hit with rising interest rates, that would end up in a recession.

However, today Tokyo's fiscal position, awash in debt that amounts to two years' worth of GDP, can ill-afford the generous injections it is making to stabilise markets and the spending that will be needed to restore infrastructure.

The immediate effect on the Japanese economy will likely be to send Japan into a worsening  recession, possibly escalating into a depression. However, if production of everything from cars to concrete will be ramped up to satisfy the expected demand, within a year the rebuilding effort could deliver growth.

The Japanese are tremendously energetic and disciplined race. They have more than a 1000 years of Martial Arts Culture and warrior spirit behind them. Even though their population is aging, they still have the capacity to recover quickly. They are a very able, talented, hard working people like the Chinese, Koreans and the Germans.

In the Grand Scheme of things, however, Japan has little natural resources and no essential strategic location. A World Wide depression will originate from a strategic and natural resource rich region like Middle-East or Central Asia, which sucks in major world powers with natural resources like oil, diamonds and gold.

Japan will face orderly stagnation or very very gradual decline, but is not a likely candidate for causing a World Wide event.

Do you believe the world is headed for a financial  meltdown? If so, do you think Japan's current crisis could be the beginning of a downwards spiral towards a global economic depression?

My readers and I would love to know what you think, so please let us know your opinion in the form of a comment, bellow.

Record Gun Sales as Americans Prepare for Financial Collapse

Americans are buying guns in record numbers as a reaction to the crumbling economy.

Trends are pinpointing to a fearful public struggling financially and preparing for potential mass civil unrest in the aftermath of a total economic collapse.

FBI records and Google Trends research shows that firearms purchases are at record highs, suggesting that Americans have rushed to protect themselves from the potential of civil unrest, crime, violence and possible shortages of food and other necessities in the event of a widespread financial meltdown.

Data released by the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) for the year reported 14,033,824 NICS Checks for the year of 2009, a 10 percent increase in gun purchases from the 12,709,023 reported in 2008.

“Once the economy gets bad, crime always goes up,” a police officer told the St. Pete Times, “People get desperate whenever things are not going the way they feel like they should be going, and they’ll do things they normally wouldn’t do.”

So far that is over 14,000,000 guns and 14,033,824,000 billions rounds of Ammo bought last year

To put it in perspective that is more guns than the combined active armies of the top 21 countries in the world. Assuming each gun buyer bought 1000 rounds of ammo for each purchase, and you and I know that it is way, way more than that, that would be easily 14,033,824,000+ billions rounds of ammo fired by USA gun owners.

Of the NICS background checks preformed less than and average .005% were denied, showing, overwhelmingly, that law abiding American citizens are the ones buying guns and that criminals are getting their guns elsewhere.

Although many Americans are seeking their security in precious metals, such as gold and silver, more are preparing for anarchy and chaos by going on food stamps and stockpiling essentials such as non-perishable food, water, gasoline and heating fuels.

Interest in silver coins is also surging, with Americans looking for more affordable ways to protect their increasingly devalued dollar savings with many unable to afford soar away gold prices.

“Just two years ago, silver coin sales were on the magnitude of 1 million units a month, now it’s 3 million units a month,” said Colas.

However, maybe they are barking up the wrong tree. You should check out a couple of small-cap gun makers. These companies have withstood the test of time and now, they’re enjoying more publicity and rising share prices…

For example, Sturm, Ruger & Co. (RGR) shares have enjoyed similar success this year. As of Friday morning, the stock is up almost 73% year-to-date (32% yoy). The firearms maker reported huge increases in revenue and backlog during Q4, and several analysts have upgraded this stock to a strong buy.

Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. (SWHC). This company has been making guns longer than any of us have been on the planet. After a tumultuous few years, this stock has posted a strong 2009. Shares are up about 80% since Jan.1.

So maybe you should be buying guns not only to protect yourself and your family, but also as an investment opportunity. As long as there is even a small, remote possibility that the economy will crash or that we are in danger of social unrest, guns will be a valuable asset. In more ways than one.

Note: Crime is at Record Lows!

This record year in firearms background checks show that Americans are solidly in-favor of exercising their civil right to Keep and Bear Arms. In a year were crime has reached an all time record low what is plainly clear is that more guns equal LESS CRIME!

Tip: Become a Federal Licensed Firearms Dealer

The following will not only provide detailed information on the process of becoming a firearms dealer, it will help save you money when buying firearms.

  • Behold a Pale Horse, an ebook by American writer, shortwave broadcaster, conspiracy theorist and former member of the U.S. Naval Intelligence Briefing Team, Milton William Cooper, reveals the truth as he sees it, from the assassination of John F.
